Vision Zero SF
Brand Development, Website design and content, social media, collateral
I worked with the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) and other key city agency stakeholders to manage the development of a new brand, accompanying graphic collateral, a new website, and social media outreach for the Vision Zero SF initiative.
We developed the Vision Zero SF brand by laying the foundation with the development of messaging and a brand narrative. This effort concentrated on how the VZSF brand would highlight the goal – zero traffic related fatalities by 2024 - along with messaging and narrative that ensured a focus on the fact that traffic deaths are preventable. Additionally, we added in the human element, to ensure that the true root of this work was not forgotten. With the message and narrative defined, we worked on a logo and word mark that would illustrate these key brand attributes visually.
The responsive website, www.visionzerosf.org, tells a more human story about the importance of this effort, and was built to expand content as the initiative moves forward. I also developed and executed a robust social media plan that helped educate the public about traffic safety and promote the goals of Vision Zero SF.
